My name was choose by two people that helped me ashlynn Zia rose it is part of things they called me trying to help
My male name and middle were Christopher Thomas. I just respelled Chris T. to Kristy.
So I chose Gracie because my birh name was Gregory as I thought it matched well. For my middle name I took Marie seeing how my birth middle name was Mark I feel Gracie Marie has a fun feminine flo and it brings a nice warm feeling to my ❤️
I am of Welsh decent (Y Cymru in the native tongue) and had the wonderful opportunity to spend a year in Carmarthen (Caerfyrddin) for college. While there, I met and fell in love with a wonderful classmate but, unfortunately, that long-distant relationship did not hold up over time when circumstances forced my return to the US. I honor that love by taking a slight twist of her surname as my own and, while looking through a book of baby names when my first child was near birth, I felt a “rightness” with the name I now use when en femme.
My male name is Spencer.
Whenever I mentioned my name to someone, the reply was ALWAYS: “Oh Spencer Tracy”, the actor, thus was born Traci
While dressed, I was driving to see my therapist. Out of the back of my mind, I heard “Hi, my name in Sandra Michelle ” . No radio on, no one else in the car. So, that has been my name ever since. I have no idea of where it came f RT on, but I like it. Sandy
Although I prefer Vikki, and use that occasionally,- I went with Bobbi, ( old name “Bob”) to make things easier on old friends and family, and work. Mostly accepted by all, but, always a few knuckleheads.
