Your name is a powerful part of your feminine identity.
Some names feel sweet and innocent, others are classic and elegant, and some carry an exotic or mysterious vibe.
As a trans woman or crossdresser, you have the unique opportunity to choose a name that reflects who you truly are.

I choose my name based on two CamSoda Perform. First Name taken from one performer and last choosen from another performer. Both first and last name consit of my real name so I choose this.
An ex girlfriend picked my name for me. First girl I exposed my crossdressing persona to. It’s the same name as one of my friends girlfriends. Not sure if she did that to humiliate me. It was very uncomfortable at first, but after many years, I have become Ashley.
I was given the name Joshua Levi at birth and by age 4 I called myself Jessica Marie and wore moms or my sisters clothes when I was alone at age 44 I finally went out in public as Jessica Marie and loved it I’m going to legally change my name as soon as I can and just be who I’ve always been
I chose Marie because it’s my lil sister’s middle name or so I thought as everyone in the family has always addressed her as Mishel. But that’s actually her middle name and she had already chose for the world to know her as Marie after I decided to use her name. And so following suit to aviod confusion, family call me Lynn, which I always found to be a pretty, and very feminine, name
Hello everyone!!!
I chose the name Harmony because my male name, Jeffrey, means God‘s peace (and has no female equivalent, as far as I know), because I strive for harmony, peace, and getting-along between people, and because I’m also a musician. It was tough to find a nickname for Harmony that resonated with me, but, somehow, Mimi seemed to, because I worked with a woman once whose nickname was Mimi and she was really nice to me. Plus, I thought it was rather unusual, warm, and feminine.
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!!!
It was easy: Rose was the short form of Röschen the name of a carnival club in germany, where I appeared the first time in total female clothes with high heels. It still means the flower rose but in a small a little form. First it should be ‘von Röschen’ to show the high level, like earl of Röschen, but that was too much. And it is still a good idea, I feel.
For years I was thinking of using the name Danyelle and even used it as an author name for stories I wrote, however it never really quite seemed to fit. Then one day while watching the TV show The originals, I saw a character who was a very beautiful and very powerful which. Her name on the show was Davina. I was immediately drawn to that name, which coincidentally is the feminine form of my original name David. So, Davina just stuck with me and eventually it went out.
My group gave me idea to use former girlfriends name. I didn’t want do that but their idea helped me remember a name to use. So I thought this is good for me.
