Your name is a powerful part of your feminine identity.
Some names feel sweet and innocent, others are classic and elegant, and some carry an exotic or mysterious vibe.
As a trans woman or crossdresser, you have the unique opportunity to choose a name that reflects who you truly are.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear yours!

I chose Susan because firstly, it does not sound like a boy’s name turned into a girl’s name eg Paul to Paula; and secondly, I did not want my name to remind me of anybody I know and I know nobody called Susan; thirdly it is such a girly name; and last but not least, I have always liked that name. I have now asked people I know to only use Susan when referring to me.

When I was still in the oven, everyone, even the Dr. thought I was a girl, so mom chose the name Sheli Marie for me. Then Suprize. She had told me this over my younger years so when I went fem full time, I chose the name I should have been born as.
Hi, My given name is William Joseph, so Billijo was a natutal. Besides it’s could pass as my legal name…
My feminine name is Hayden Nichole Hammons. It was chosen because Hayden is a uni sex name which makes transitioning with it easier but still has enough feminine quality to allow me to be feminine with it. I’ve grown into this name in the respects that since choosing the finalized version (i.e. spelling and middle name) I’ve been able to more fully and realistically envision my transition into womanhood. It’s become such a natural feeling name to me it rolls off the tongue without force and feels right to me personally.
I was having trouble what I wanted my female name to be. I liked several and couldn’t make up my mind. I tried Tiffany, Leslie, Susan, Danielle and Jennifer.. One day I pulled out a sheet of paper and wrote each name down Trying to decide “Which” one would I would choose… Out beside each name I “Signed” that name to see how it would feel and how my signature would look.. Turns out that “Jennifer” was the most comfortable for me to sign.. LOL… I Have been Jennifer for the past 15 years.. the name suits me and is the only name I answer too…
I have chosen Michelle Joan, which are the feminine version of Michael John

I wanted to name my daughter Jennifer but I was over-ruled by my now x-wife & her mother. She always got her way because she was very sadistic & violent. She beat the kids & I on a daily basis. (People actually wonder why I don’t want to date women? I have many reasons!) BTW: My daughter’s name is Heather.
