Well I think like alot of girls they modify there 1st name or take part of it like I did I started out with a boys name of Kirk so I reversed it taking the Kri to make Krista out of it and have a middle name of Dean that was also my dads middle name.
So I took my moms middle name of Ann and ended up with Krista Ann and I am HAPPY with it : )
Love,
Krista

I chose my name because I have always loved the name Katherine. It seems timeless and classy. Love all the nick names too…Kate, Katy, Kat. Elizabeth was one of my best friends in high school, was jealous of her! She was eveything I wanted to be. My boy initials were KED…so now my girl initials are the same.
This a little embarassing but worth telling. I knew a girl named Sue when I was young and had a little crush on her. We grew appart and that was that. I decided to come out a few years back and tried to place a name to the woman I had always known from within. I always loved the name Rachel, but for some odd reason one night, I couldn’t spell it. Maybe it was the over abundance of beverage, but I like to remember it as knowing that certain young woman that I dreamed of being. So I made my E-mail address one night and it stuck. The boy named Sue…
One day when things go right, and I go to change my name, it will be as follows. Susanna Mae… for the girl I knew, and my mothers middle name. Two very big spirits in my little spirit world.
Susanna Sweet.
Hi Lucille,
I picked Adelina because it seemed like a sexier, very feminine version of my name Adam.
My name as a boy name is abiel,
One of my friends picked a name for me and she named me” abby” after a wile I moved to another of my good friends his name is Joe his 65 and one of our neighbors name was Barbara she’s was a wonderful woman and we became really good friends.we both loved to do garden she also had a dog named cookie, one day I was out in the garden hiding in the roses she was looking at me and she toll me I don’t see you as an abby,I see you more like a “libi” because you reminded me off a humming bird jumping flower flower.
One day I moved and I used to visit her after two years she got verry sick and her son came from Colorado and took her with him.then one day I went to visit her the house she lived in was occupied by another man I was sad my heart was crushed I cry, and cry I never got to say good bye and that’s why I decided too change Lu name to libi.
Hey Lucille,
When I first came out I adopted an entirely new persona online to help protect my son, so I changed both my first and last names. My last name, literally, means ‘judge,’ so I selected that as my last name. I’ve always liked the name Jessica, it sounded good with Judge, and, it turns out, it means forward looking, embracing the future. So I was Jessica Judge. I have now reverted to my family name as my last name, but retained Jessica as my first.
In January 2010 I had my name legally changed to Jessica by deed poll (I’m a British national) and am working to have the America authorities recognize it as my legal name.
I have always loved the name Missy…. When I went to my HR lady and told her I was legally changing my name and why. She asked me why I didn’t just stick with my old name as it is a unisex name…. (It was Merl) Merl has about 23 different spellings that I know of… Meryl is one and that is what my youngest son was named. Meryl Streep is a famous Merl.
Well I told her that I didn’t want any one to mistake me for any thing other than feminine. Unisex was out of the question… Jean is the feminine form of John, also my old middle name. I love it when my friends call me Missy Jean… I just love how it sounds……
