Your name is an important part of your feminine identity.
Some names feel sweet and innocent, others are classic and elegant, and some carry an exotic or mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique privilege of choosing your own female name—a name that truly reflects who you are.
For many of you, there’s a special story behind your chosen name.
So, I’d love to know: What’s the meaning behind your feminine name?
Share your name and the story of how you chose it in the comments below.
I can’t wait to hear your story!
Love,
Lucille
I first wanted Deborah, however my family vetoed me on that. My birth name was David Anthony, so I researched Davina and discovered that it first appeared in Scotland and means “Enlightenment”. Since I wanted to help people understand transgenderism, I could not think of a better name.
Hi Davina
I know this question was asked in 2011, and now it’s 2017. But I hope you received the prize. Your story is the best I have read.
Much love ❤

MY FEM NAME GINA WAS GIVEN TO ME BY MY FORMER MISTRESS IV’E ALWAYS LIKED IT THANKS
I have chosen the name Alex as it can be used for either male or female, my full name is Alexander Robert being shortened to Bob for whatever reason, so Alex it is.
The name i was given at birth was Edie but i always wanted it to be Emily
i picked julia because i was called that when being teased it grew on me i guess
Actualy my wife helped I started my transition about five years ago and after a couple of years we finaly went out together for a girls nite it was great she asked if i ever thought of a femm name and wich i did not at the time she looked and said kimberly its beautiful and so are you! So that is where I got my name..
My initials for my male name are G E. The first being Gary. I considered Geri, Garrie, and other feminine forms of Gary. I even looKed up Gary in other languages. I tried Gari Elle for awhile but after a search of baby names with some form of G and E I settled on Gabriella Ellen.
Gabriella means believer in God!!! and that was the reason I choose it.
when i was in 7th grade, i was in class, and there was a substitute teacher. i got called down to the office for some reson, and, when they called the classroom, the sub-teacher, called me kim, instead of ken (along with my last name). so, the name stuck with me since. *this was even before i started dressing enfemme8
