Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
i used to call myself jennifer.when i met my partner and she found out who the real me was we started dressing together and doing our makeup together.she said to me you dont look like a jennifer.you look more like a fiona so from that day on she has called me fiona.even when we go out she calls me fiona.i love it but get strange looks but i dont care.im very happy to be me.fiona.
as i was christened Paul, pauline was an obvious, and easy choice, as i can still answer to it, without having to think “Are they talking to me?”
My name is Teresa. I have always liked this name as it was the name of a girl I dated in High School. My goal is to be able to pass as a female and I would love to be able to look like her and have her name!
choosing my first name Rachel was no problem since when I told my mother that I was changing genders; she stated that I would always call you by your real name (ray). Since I am Jewish (converted) I chose the name of Rachel to suit us both and my middle name was changed to Elain due to a friend I had in high school. My last name was the hardest to change (long story of why I chose to change it). I pondered for more than 5 months to get the right one. One day while I was at school a co-student stated why not choose mine (Sommers); it sounded great but too many m’s (I thought) I removed one “m” and my name is now who I am….. Rachel Elain Somers
You have a very natural look to you. Congratulations if that was your goal.
I chose my femme name by using the names of my 2 most favorite actresses and my actual first name. The result is Kirsten Melissa Michaels. Not very exotic but it suits me.
I got the name I wanted with slight modification of name to it’s feminine form. erne jayne. Erne has the dictionary meaning of “sea eagle” and is most appropriate being portraying me as a “cliff hanger”. Danger is opportunity and opportunity is danger – they go together, I always want it so.
I chose AmberLynn after the famous porn. I desire to look and be just like her.
Oooo…luv that dress girlfriend.
I am also amber lyn… though, I have never heard of the porn. That is just WAY to weird! I’ve been going by that name for four years and nobody EVER said anything about it. And so strange that I would find somebody else with that name here. You have a great figure. So lucky… I gained almost 60lbs on hormones in the first year… lol
I have chosen the name “Danielle”, because it sounds (if spoken correctly) beautiful. It’s also easy to remember, because it sounds graceful. I also chose this name, because of the ending “elle” (french word for the pronoun “she”).
