Hello all, i chose the name Kendra as it means wise, knowledgeable, and understanding, something i hope people would be towards me, and feel like it suits me down to a tee.
Sara….if I had anyone to call me that name.
No worries my world is OK..
I have a figure( that I hide!) I am happy!
Well almost 🙂
I was roughly 13 when I chose this name. At the time it was just me mothers middle name but as I got a little older I started feeling more and more like a Jenn. The pronunciation of the shortened name shares that with Djinn, a mythical creature rumored to be able to grant the wishes of anyone they chose. I sort of took on that role helping anyone and everyone I met to better themselves then just like the for mentioned creature I would disappear out of their lives but still keep watch just in case I was needed again. So I guess that is the reason I held on to the name and sort of grew into it as you would say.
I worked with a Lady who spelled her name “Suzi” and I thought it was pretty. I wanted something a litte different so I Spell my name “Susanne”, or Ms. Suzi.
Hi Lucille!
I was always fascinated by witches , vampires and anything to do with spiritual and/or the supernatural realms!
As I always used to go out only when it was dark my very best girlfriend and I were very much into bondage and s+m!
She then started calling me her mistress of the dark and that’s how we both came up with the name Elvira!
Best regards!
Elvira.
Hi Lucille,
It was just obvious for me, born Patrick on March 16th, the day before St Patrick’s day, and being totally Irish, I went with Trisha.
When I was a kid, I had a babysitter named Amanda. I had a huge crush on her. I dated three different girls named Amanda. I loved Amanda Tapping on “Stargate SG1”, and “Sanctuary” (ScyFy channel). Plus I always loved the song, “Amanda”, by Boston.
I chose Strong as my last name, as I was a bodybuilder, and powerlifter. I’m still benching 330 pounds at a bodyweight of 145 pounds. But I’m still reducing my size, thus my strength. (Currently wearing size 1 pants, and size 8-10 tops.)
Plus, I wanted name that emulated strength, confidence, and dedication.
I’ve had some friends ask me if I chose my first name, because it sounds like, “A Man Duh”, but that’s not why I chose it. Although that is quite funny to me.
My middle initial is “T”. I haven’t decided on the name yet, but I will soon.
So my initials are “A.T.S.”…..kind of appropriate.
