Your name plays a big part in shaping your feminine identity.
Some names sound sweet and innocent, some are classic and regal, while others exude an exotic and mysterious vibe.
As a crossdresser or trans woman, you have the unique opportunity of choosing your own female name.
If you’re like most of my readers, there’s a story behind your chosen feminine name.
So, in this blog post, I’d love to hear about the special meaning behind your name.
Please leave a comment below, sharing your feminine name and the story of how and why you chose it for yourself.
I’m excited to hear the story!
Love,
Lucille
Sorry did not reply before, did not check my email.
Didn’t need to change my name as I am called Terri makes it quite easy, can’t get confused when anyone asks my name.
Love Terri
When I was in high school there was this girl named Katrina, and we kinda looked alike. We were tall and skinny, with long legs and brown hair. I always thought we looked a like especially when i was in Drag. I wanted to be her, so I took her name as my female persona. Funny thing, she was on the first APPRENTICE with Donald Trump (and Amerosa).
Love your blog, Lucille!!!
YOUR ARE THE BEST!
Peace and love, Katrina xoxo
My
name of Angélique I decided upon long ago. In 1974-5 there was a TV
series running in Geneva Switzerland where I was living at the time.
Someone the central character of this name impressed me. Also this name
which means “angelic” in English sounds important and Catholics with
whom I have been around a lot while living in Europe talk a lot about
angels. At first I decided upon this name casually but at the end of
1986 it became my legal name. I wanted it to be so.

I chose my feminine name Frances, when I was researching girl’s names and came across name Frances. The name Frances comes from Latin and refers to a “Free Woman”. The moment I read the meaning of the name Frances and realized that is just what I did with my life, freed the woman in me and from that day on, I have enjoy life more than any other time in my fifty nine years..
Frances
Like so many others I missed the contest, but I wanted to chime in.
I took french in high school and was assigned a pen pal with the name Danielle. When it came time to choose a name, hers was the first, and last, one I considered. It has absolutely no relation to my birth name and I like that.
hugs,
Dani
Hi. It was really easy to me to choose my name. When my morther was in pregnancy of me, she was waiting a girl, but a boy was born instead of a girl. The name she wished for her was Cecilia. My last name en femme is the last name of my granmother but I added to it the word “di” in memory of Lady Diana. So my name is Cecilia di Lagorio
The first day I began to use Cecilia was when I subscribed to a cross dresser’s page almost a year ago. Also I had to creat a new e-mail address too, because I did not had one en femme.
