Have you ever felt like it might be too late to begin crossdressing or embark on your male to female transition?
If so, I’m here to tell you that it’s never too late to pursue your feminine dreams!
Regardless of your age or circumstances, there’s no better time than NOW to fully embrace your inner woman.
In this blog post, we’ll explore 7 reasons why it’s not too late for your MTF transformation or transition. Let’s get started!
1. There Are More Positive Transgender Role Models Than Ever Before
In today’s world, there are more positive trans role models than ever before.
From Janet Mock, transgender author and advocate, to Danica Roem, the first transgender woman to win a state seat, now is the perfect time join these role models in raising awareness.
2. With Age Comes Wisdom and Experience
While we might all wish to be forever young, age brings with it valuable wisdom and experience.
Your male to female journey can benefit greatly from the insights and knowledge that come with time.
3. 50 is the New 30 and 70 is the New 50
Despite our youth-obsessed society, there are many fabulous female icons in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond who prove that age is only a number.
Candis Cayne, Alexandra Billings, Tracey Norman, and many other trans celebrities prove that beauty and femininity have no expiration date.
4. You Care Less About What Others Think
As you grow older, you tend to care less about other people’s opinions. And that is a beautiful thing!
Spending less time worrying about what people think of you can definitely enhance your MTF journey.
5. These Pioneers Prove it’s Never Too Late to Reinvent Yourself
Countless late bloomers have achieved remarkable success by starting over later in life. Here are examples of transgender women who reinvented themselves after age 50:
- Rachel Levine, who serves as the 17th Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, began her transition when she was 54.
- Jennifer Pritzker, notable for being the first transgender billionaire, came out as transgender at age 63.
- Caitlyn Jenner, American media personality and former Olympic gold medal-winning athlete, came out as transgender at the age of 65.
6. It’s Better to Dare Than Have Regrets
When you reflect on your life one day, would you rather look back on a life that was lived to the fullest, even if it ruffled a few feathers, or be filled with regrets?
The choice to embrace your true self is yours to make TODAY.
7. There are More Resources Than Ever Before
Today, there is a wealth of resources available, including transgender and crossdressing support groups, websites, books, and specialized products and procedures.
These resources can go a long way in supporting your feminine transformation or transition.
In conclusion
I hope this post has convinced you that it’s never too late for your MTF transformation or transition. Now is the perfect time to pursue your feminine dreams, whatever they may be.

I am 57 years old
I am a CD of 68 years and wish I had half of the resources that there are today. So at this ripe young age I would love to become the woman I have always longed for BUT with so much family!!!!! Alas I feel I will be in the closet for the rest of my life…… bummer!
I finally came out at the age of 44, just shy of my 45th birthday. Towards the end of last year, I decided I needed to transition and soon because time is running out. I started buying makeup and clothes an in May of this year, I came out as transgender. I have been on hormones since September and my body is going through the delicate and delicious changes I have been yearning for, for over 30 years. I am a 911 dispatch supervisor and my work family fully embraces me, as do my two sons and most of my family.
Indeed, it’s never too late. Here I am on my 75th birthday. I’ve never been happier. I was 68 before beginning to set Jennifer free, after a lifetime of shoving her deep into the closet corner, listening to her cry to be let out. It took years, lots of baby steps, searching to figure out who and what Jennifer really was. Now, finally, I think I’ve found her, or maybe it’s the other way around. I now have more feminine clothes than male and have finally begun getting rid of my male stuff, forced to in order to make more room for Jennifer. Gad, that girl loves heels. I’ve begun wrapping up my old, male life and my plan is that before 2024 ends, I will be Jennifer full time. Surely, it is never too late.
Hugs,
Jennifer
Oh how I admire you and looking so pretty!
My true mental transition started very young, my hormone transition started at 62. Hormones have been very good for and so many happy days since. The availability of hormones was all but non-existent 50 years ago. Sometimes make me sad to have had to wait butt so very happy now.

Does some sublime Really work on breasts for guys. Because I grow some and I’m probably a little bit of an a size but not much that you can see but is there something I’m eating that is making it’ll grow and then it’ll stop and then go backwards and then it’ll grow again
There are some things in our lives that come and go. To me, being trans is not one of them. That’s a part of me that wouldn’t go away no matter what I did. It was overwhelming, playing in a loop over and over all the time. I know what a difficult decision it can be and how it feels like we’re risking everything. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. I think transitioning probably effected everything else around me more than it did myself because, I am who I always was. So did i transition? Maybe the word “transformed” is better, because only my appearance has changed. But I like this look better than looking like a wrinkled old geezer. 🙂
Love all you brave beautiful girls! Love seeing all of you and you are so inspiring. I’ve not transitioned but it eats at my heart every day and these are some good reasons to go for it. Unfortunately I’m still deep in the closet thus far and may never climb out. You girls give me hope!
