It is because voices drop with testosterone, while estrogen does not effect voice, voice starts off high. Estrogen goes down with age in women allowing more t from the adrenals to lower the voice.
Younger girls are higher pitched as they have had less time for the lower dose of t they have to effect them, its a sign the eggs are fresh and ripe. It would only matter in combination with youth, once bags and wrinkles are there a low voice does not matter.
If a really young girl has a very low voice but has other markers of being fertile it might not matter as much. When its about sex it wont matter at all as men have lots of sperm so can afford the risk just incase there is an egg there. But when choosing a long term mate the most primitive types may seek out ones who appear to have all the symptoms of low testosterone, high estrogen, which often means weak with high voices and also more viable eggs as a trade off.
Nature sucks really, it was not fair to women as the cost of high estrogen low testosterone is weak bones and muscles, maybe even more chance of cancer. A touch more t and a little less fertile would mean better health in many other ways.
Im using a small dose of t myself, i hope for a slight drop in voice but dont want any hairloss or beard. Ideal for me would be perfect hair free skin, full head of hair, well developed muscles and lean all over, thick skin, and an androgynouse voice, plus a mind that is a perfect balance of emotion and logic.
It appears nature did not produce this very often in either sex, instead it focuses on what reproduces, im post gender as i would like to have the best of both sexes and not run a reproductive system in return for a longer youth. As for downstairs a bigger clit would be ok, a bit less breast and less curve at the hips.
Deep voices are so sexy. If you look at icons like Marilyn Monroe and Angelina Jolie,etc..all have that deep womanly seductive voice. There is a reason men go crazy for that voice.

Men dont go for high pitched siren sounding females! young girls are not high pitched. their voices are calming, but not high pitch. when i think high pitch i think of babies screaming and shrieking!

Watch a video on YouTube of Mariah Carey speaking. The first time I heard her speaking voice I was blown away! It is very low and sounds nothing like her singing voice (She has a five octave range and wish to be able to sing at the whistle register) Her voice is very unique.
Along with Marilyn Monroe, and Angelina Jolie who are sex icons for men it is interesting that they have deep/low voices.
What I fail to understand is that high pitch voices are considered feminine and preferable to the opposite sex and associated with estrogen, yet as far as I know sex phone workers use a low husky raspy voice and apparently it is seductive…What is going on here? Do men prefer their girlfriends to have a high pitch voice to hear it during day to day activity because it sounds normal and he wants to sound more masculine in comparison, but secretly desires to have relations with women like these who have lower voices? Lol. It sounds hypocritical because apparently there was a study done to say men prefer higher voices because it sounds youthful, then again it could also mean the women are less developed, as most people’s voices drop when they hit puberty. I have also heard that lower voices are more dominant in the business world. So maybe youthful voices are good for daily interaction and low voices are good in the bedroom when men want to be dominated? :p I guess just like anything there are pros and cons to everything.
