It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
I was building a homebrew D&D world years ago, and named a character Lilyan Dracoslyn because of a connection to dragons and being a wizard. Then I kept using the name for various PCs and by the time I came out to myself, it just was who I am. I kept my last name, and a middle name just popped into my head, otherwise, I like it. I can just add two letters if I feel like being more formal or keep it nice and short at four letters 😉
Hello Lucille, I chose my name in sort of a different way.I was at my hairdresser one day and said I needed a feminine name . we talked and mentioned Laura, Sandy ,Beth and Sharon ,My hairdressers name was Christine . Well after chatting a bit while doing my nails we both said Mandy would be wonderful. ever since then That is my name I use it alot. And your name should be chosen with great care just as your parents would choose it you have to use it a long time.Love to all Mandy
At first I tried various names that never quite fit until the obvious hit me, boy name David so why not Davina as my feminine name, I even went as far to do the same to my middle names to, lol, my mum approved too xx
I choosed the name michelle because my male name is Michael and michelle is a pretty feminine French name for michael
go male by donnie, I like d so I went with donna and then I have the same initials!!! BTW I just love the sublime breast stuff
I didn’t choose my name it chose me. I always used Lorna who was my best friend at school and the first person I ever told. However, when two wonderful ladies who help me asked what name they should use, Rebecca sort of forced it’s way out of nowhere. I fell in love with it on the spot, and now it is my legal name xx
My middle name (Louise) was a gift. When my wife and I parted ways she wanted to give me a special gift just from her. Money was very tight and so I asked her if I could use her middle name. That way she would always be in my life in some way. She gladly agreed and so that’s now my middle name x.
I love what you said about your name choosing you. Rebecca is a beautiful name!
Bless you, I certainly love it, and I never get tired of hearing it. The wonderful ladies who help and support me know that all they need to do to make me smile is say my name xx.
