It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
I was in the middle of a massage therapy session with my therapist, when she asked me what’s wrong. I immediately told her I was transgendered. She said, “That’s wonderful! What’s her name?” I just automatically said “Alaina.” I just knew that was my true, real, genuine authentic self. I even knew that was how my name is spelt.
Female name is Jamie – close match with my male name. It’s easier for my friends to better remember when in feminine attire.
For me it was kind of a no brained Michael Anthony to Mechelle Ann ❤️ Mechelle Ann is what I have identified as from childhood❤️
I just love my female name feels right❤️
My male name is Louis, but I’m Hispanic and have been called Louise since grade school
And I’ve always loved how it sounded. Even now when ordering food at a drive-through I say I’m Louis but get called Louise. I love it.
I chose the name Kimberly because it closest resembles my birth name. I added Marie after the name of a friend of my mothers. Cross is because I am star crossed between two genders 🙂
I chose my name to honour my deceased girlfriend and my best friend
I just changed the last letter of my real name to an i and became Kerri. I think its a more feminine spelling.
I chose my name because I would have been called that by my mother if I had been born female. A bonus it is also my wife’s name so no problems if any packages arrive unexpectedly
