It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
Long before I realized that I was a sissy, I had a girlfriend who named my penis Suzi. As I entered into sissyhood, what better name to choose? It seems only right that a real woman should have input into naming sissies.
Mine was simple I was born in April so I just use it as my feminine
name.

My guy name was Adrian……..so it was easy to choose Adrienne! I think it was meant to be!!!
my middle name was randy, and that was the name I went by.i chaged to candi, when en femme, because I liked the sound, and I could be so sweet to my male beau’s.so yummy and tasty!
I chose my name just becsuse it seemed to fit who I really am.I have known that I was a girl trapped in a boys

Full time.I wear womens clothes as oftenas possiable.
Mine was chosen by my parents – after two boys and one girl before me they actually hoped for a girl to gender-balance their family. Tempting fate, they chose Fionnuala for my name. It was an easy choice for me.
When I attended my first support group meeting many years ago I had never actually faced another human while enfemme. I was scared out of my wits! The group did all it could to make me feel welcome. However the very first thing they asked me (of course) was “What is your name?” Simple enough but I was such a novice I hadn’t given two seconds thought about a name. The only femme name I could think of was my ex’s name so I blurted that out! Only one breath later I realized what a dumb thing I’d done. So I spelled it in a goofy way. Still not smart. Sooo, when I do go full-time, I’m going to have a better name I can keep for the long haul. Thanks!
