It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
My male name is Stephen, so Stephanie was an easy choice for me.
Stephanie loves when her family leves her alone so she can put on a corset or frilly bra & garter belt with her cocktail dress and with sockings & heels takes herself out to the bar and feel so girly!
I wish I could do that… Just broke my record walking outside.. 1km at 4 am in the rain in the quiete part of town… I was afraid like shit..
Tonia darling you are a very brave girl and I am so proud of you! My first time out too was scary but when I got home and the complements I got from women on my makeup and attire I could have cried I was so happy – hope you enjoy more excursions sexy 🙂
My name was an easy choice for me. When I came out to my mother a few months ago, she asked me what name I was using? I told her I had modified her maiden name from Michel to Michelle and my middle name from Ray to Rae. That way I could honor both her side of the family, which is 3rd generation French and Indian and also have a feminized version of my middle name to keep a connection to my late father.
I chose my feminine name based on my interest in archaic languages and mythology and I always like the idea demons angels gods monsters and I used to have this nickname Lucifer because I was an absolute badass and I would stick up for the little guys but was also a total asshole anyways so lilith according to the Hebrew is the equivalent to Lucifer his equal so I just upon rediscovering my feminine self I chose the name lilith its unique and has history, a story behind it’s origin plus I’m sexy as hell and Lilith is lust personified so ya its fitting
I was adopted and my birth name is Donald C. so I just modified the first name a bit to Donna. That way it is actually me, or at least somewhat me. Sixteen or so years ago when I was giving serious thought to actually transitioning, I’d planned to just use my legal name which is semi-androgynous.
13 years ago a family moved in next door our family’s grew into one big one. There was one girl awekward but held a rooms presence (maddy) few years later she went missing that was in 2005. We and the police have not found her to this day. I came out as the beautiful and talented maddy this year. Somewhere between 2011 and 2014 we found out she was sold to sex traffickers. So in her honor i chose maddy so her memory can live on. Her family gave me permission and loved it when i asked for it. ” we love n miss u maddy,
-cassy,bug, brosia, leona, nay nay, and me , devin, proudly now maddy.

I picked my name over a long trial period of names about 10years for me. I feel a bright star of feminine nature burning with in me that needs to shine for all. Essie means star. I picked Rose as my middle name because I am a flower of love and kindness. Plus I adore roses. Faith is my last name which means I have faith that i will be a 100% woman in years to come. I will be reborn with Gods Grace as the girl I need to be. I love this site with Lucille and I wish more woman except the need of some to be who they are and help.. Kisses from Essie! I love you Lucille for all you do for me.
Its the common feminization of my name Michael.
