It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille
Hi Lucille!
I was born as the third boy in the family. My Mother wanted a girl. So while I was named after my uncle Patrick, my mother always called me Trish (as in patricia).
I liked the name then and more now.
Regards, Trish
I chose my name, Sakura, since it’s the name of an extremely beautiful tree that also represents a rebirth. I figured it was pretty relevant and made it seem more special to me.
Hi all! I went through a few names over the past 5 years until I chose the one that works for me.
I have a name that is uncommon today but in the 60’s was better known thanks in part by movie star Tuesday Weld.
Thanks
Tuesday
My wife gave me my feminine name of Adeline. She has always been very supportive, and when it came time to actually have a feminine name, I asked her to think of what it should be. It took her a couple of days (we were on vacation) of trying various names on me, and then it took. It fits, and we both like it. On my recent birthday both my male persona and Adeline got gifts. A lovely perfume atomizer.
I let my family . And vote on it. Because if my family would not use my name ,then what good is it. I was lucky to not have lost the love of wife and family. Rose
My name was Denis before and I just simply renamed it Denise
My mother always wanted a girl named Sarah. So I honored her taking that name.
