Waiting for warmer weather with bated breath.
I’m going to try to get up the nerve to come out to some close friends, and book a therapist. I’ve chicked out several times even though I know it is what is best for me. I’m also going to start working on hair removal. Last year I worked on growing out my hair and that has been going great!
My biggest goal for this year is to lose weight, then followed closely with working on my feminine voice & hair removal. I’ve been on hormones for 2 1/2 years so the time has come to progress to the next stages towards looking & sounding more feminine. Here goes!!!
Well, purged a few years ago. Decided that wasn’t working at all for me. Now back to being me. I’ve done some shopping and will be doing more. Have guy friend that understands me well. This looks like it will be a very interesting year.
I’m not sure of my goals for this year. The last 2 years with covid has put me into a maintenance mode rather than a goal oriented mindset. I have lost some weight within the last few months and will continue to lose a little more. But I don’t want to lose any in the feminine areas or look boney. Some trans women have a larger skeletal structure but are maintaining a weight common to women and appear boney. I’ve noticed when I lose weight that my tummy and hips shrink. I don’t want to lose my hips and derrière.
You are SO right ! Dresses rule ! Pants have their place, and I wear them when it’s right. But I just love the feel of a dress or skirt. They are convenient, too, for various reasons, ahem. Great for road trips. Plus they add touch of class when other gals are pantsed. Walking downtown one day, wearing an ordinary skirt and sweater, I passed an older couple. After, I heard the woman say: “It’s nice when people dress up.” And a highland kilt, ahhh, the lovely way it sways !
One major drawback: should not wear a skirt when fishing along a brushy streambank. Once, after doing so, my legs looked like they had red Chinese writing all over. Got some incredulous looks at a convenience store in the next town. Knowing me, I’ll probably do it again sometime though, next time a fishing opportunity presents itself on the spur of the moment…
My new year goals are to lose weight to improve my gurl figure, learn more about applying my makeup to improve my gurl facial appearance so I can feel more confident going out in public. Good luck with your goals to all my gurl friends on this site.
My goal is to except and get used to my body the way it is. With all the changes it’s gone through and still is going through. With the hormone difference seance having my gender Confirming surgery.
