Stepping out into the word as your female self can be incredibly empowering. It’s powerful validation for crossdressers and transgender women alike.
In this blog post, I want to dive into this topic and hear about your own experiences. How often do you present yourself as a woman in public?
Do you live as a woman full time? Do you crossdress regularly or on occasion? Or is the answer, sadly, “never”?
Please take my transgender / crossdressing survey and share your thoughts in the comments below!

Hi Lucille,
I just visited bangkok around last wk of Feb’15. I was there for 8-9days and I cross-dressed and moved around bkk for all these days and visited the tourist locations ie temples, malls etc dressed up in a saree, western dress etc and it was amazing feeling to go out dressed. The people of Bangkok do not pay much attention and I just tried to blend in as a woman and moved around in their BTS trains, taxis etc in femme. It was a wonderful experience. Anyone who would like to crossdress in public should visit thailand (bkk).
Take care,
Revati (India)
Tell me more about herbs and do they really help grow your breast? I have read so much that herbs don’t really do anything for the growth of your breast.
I saw a article on running your website about natural herbs to grow your breast can I have more information on that please thank you
I have been dressing since age 5 when I begged Mom to get me a pair of Girls black leather pants I saw shopping with her one day, she did.
That completed the outfit as I already had a bra and silk top from Mom’s closet.
Since then I have been dressing and going out in public. I consider myself to be a Woman even though I am not on hormones etc.
I have always dreamed of moving to a big city and living as a Woman 100% and having breast implants.

On average I dress myself as Deana once or twice a week , I do sometimes go outside as Deana in the evening for a walk, or with a friend to a tranny friendly location.
Deana, your pics are fabulous. Such a beautiful woman.
very nice.
I’m full time, and sometimes when a person is constantly staring at me, I can’t help thinking they know. One time I swear I heard a little kid say to his friend that I was a man, just when I thought I was 100% passable. I don’t know if I’m wrong to be paranoid or I’m right on target with my worries. Lucille, maybe you could do an article about softening/feminising eye expressions. I think men just look with their eyes, while women soften their eyebrows and open their eyes up more without even meaning to.
After 11 years living full time, and getting older, I am noticing that I am getting “less passable” as time does its damage. So I dare to say that when I first started, I was probably at about only 3 of 10 would clock me, whereas today its closer to 6 of 10 probably knows exactly what I am 🙁
Hello Samantha, Believe it or not this is a problem that natal women have as well! (obviously not the passing part) but we all get old. One of the classic issues is to step back and readjust your image to your age. Something that is hard to do on your own. What about your hairstyle? Could a change in color or hair length be a bit more flattering. I had a friend who stopped passing. But when we chatted she was wearing her hair in a long wig almost to her waste. Most women (but not all) either cut their hair or start wearing it up. So in her case we tried a new wig with some highlights in it. Had a hairdresser adjust the style to her face and she looked fantastic. A woman of her age! (Yes we all want too look 20 again but being 50 or 60+ can require a few subtle adjustments!) . I’ve had a few friends say that passing has got easier for them as they get older because they are not seen as sex objects anymore. Perhaps time for an image change?
