Stepping out into the word as your female self can be incredibly empowering. It’s powerful validation for crossdressers and transgender women alike.
In this blog post, I want to dive into this topic and hear about your own experiences. How often do you present yourself as a woman in public?
Do you live as a woman full time? Do you crossdress regularly or on occasion? Or is the answer, sadly, “never”?
Please take my transgender / crossdressing survey and share your thoughts in the comments below!

Lucille,it is possible to go out wearing feminine trousers, jacket, and even carry a bag, but I still have to leave my true ‘femme-self’ at home. But it could happen, just give me time, but what a thought? Love Diane.
I went out once, had a VERY BAD experience, never again. I can’t dress as much as I used to, as my daughter live’s with me now and doesn’t know, and I’d like to keep it that way, although I miss it very much.
i’ve been living as a woman 24/7 for 3 yrs now and i get call ma’am all the time
I go out as much as I can, which is never enough! I really enjoy shopping and dinning. I do have a habit of being little over dressed at times for dinning, but never to much to attract unwanted attention. Maybe some day I will get enough nerve and transition all the way.
Deedra,
I wish I looked as good as you do ! What a beautiful lady you are I also wish you could help me with my makeup!!
I love your look, it’s so feminine and sexy/sultry. I wish that I could achieve such an attractive appearance. if you want to share where you get your ‘things’ from please put a comment online.

You are beautiful, elegant, hot, and 100% passable if this photo is any indication!
Deedra, you are a very pretty lady! I would enjoy hanging w you!
If you have any reservations or hesitations when your out you shouldn’t your a very attractive young lady. And I don’t think anyone would ever know.
Amy, I’m very confidant when out and never worry or really care what others think. It’s the trap of living in both worlds and leaving one completely and losing the ones that I love.
BTW thanks for the reference of being young, that shipped sail a long time ago. LOL

I have implants so I pretty much live 24/7 as a female, I also have full brazillian waxes done by a woman who owns a curves salon, wear gel nails, and tend to dress a bit younger than my 60 years. There are times when I really, really, really need to appear as somewhat ( at least 50 to 70% ) male though… for those times I wear a binder of the type that FTM’s wear, and my 48DD’s shrink down to a large chest look (think arny s. LOL ), I don’t wear it often, because the damn thing although it works as designed to, starts hurting my tittys like all hell after wearing it for a few hours.
I get out as much as I can. My family does not know that I do this and for the 2 that do, don’t approve. So I will keep it concealed for as long as I can happily. Although my photographs may appear that I live as a woman, I am far from that. Although I do wear polish on my toes 80% of the time and when I wear underwear, they are feminine. I will take every moment that I have free to dress.
wow you look great ! you remind me of my sons mother. she is beautiful, sadly we cant be together because of my transformation but still love her a great deal. just sharing.
I transitioned throughout 2009-2010 and have been living as a female full time since June 2010.
I am fully employed and respected by everyone I work with. At this point it is finally living the life I was always meant to have.
Full time for the last 3 years.
