Planning to step out en femme? Don’t forget your bag! More than just a stylish accessory, your purse is a toolbox for your female self.
While a cluttered bag isn’t chic, there are some essentials you shouldn’t be without. You never know what life will throw at you – and a lady is always prepared!
In this blog post, I share 15 transgender / crossdressing items to keep in your purse when you are on the go.
1. Cell phone
Needless to say, you should never leave home without your phone. Besides, you never know when the perfect selfie opportunity will arise!
2. Lip Gloss or Lipstick
A moisturizing lip gloss or lipstick in your favorite shade is a female essential.
3. Mints or Gum
Freshen your breath on the go by keeping a stash of mints or gum on hand.
4. Nail File
There’s nothing more annoying than a broken nail, so throw one of these babies into your bag.
5. $20 Cash
Even though most of us rely on credit or debit cards, you never know when you might need some cash.
6. Hand Cream
Keep your hands feeling soft and feminine with a tube of hand cream.
7. Blotting Paper or Powder
Reduce shine on the go with blotting paper or pressed powder.
8. Bobby Pins
These come in handy if you need to secure your wig or tame some loose strands of hair.
9. Compact Mirror
A must-have for checking your teeth or makeup.
10. Stain Removal Pen
The sooner you treat an unexpected stain, the less likely it is to be permanent.
11. Band-Aids
Not just for cuts and scrapes, a Band-Aid can relieve blisters caused by new shoes.
12. Safety Pins
Those can be a lifesaver if you break a strap or pop a button.
13. Emergency Info
Not to be a downer, but if anything should happen, this could literally save your life.
14. Advil or Tylenol
Keep a couple painkillers on hand in case you get a surprise headache.
15. Healthy Snack
Hunger can sneak up on you, so keep a healthy snack bar or some nuts in your bag.

I’m reposting my earlier comment. My computer crashed and it looks like it didn’t make it onto here. If it did, sorry for the duplication.
I love this list. It is everything I already have in my purse now. It’s almost like you looked into my purse .
In addition, I also have a pair of foldable ballet shoes (for those times when there is longer walks) and a small hairbrush.
Damn Girl your gorgeous!!
It’s amazing how you show everything I have in my purse already, minus the bandaids. (Have needed them in the past too). It’s like you looked into my purse ☺️. One thing not on your list is a small brush, which I do carry with me. Also a pair of foldable ballet shoes for when a lot of walking is needed.
Good add-ons to the list, girl, especially the shoes! By the way, LOVE your photo! You look content/happy.
I like the list and also keep mascara, eye shadow, powder and brush!
Small bottle of yumm~me perfume and some condoms just in case!
hehehe!
What, no tampon or pantyliner? It can be awkward if you’re in a public restroom & the girl in the next stall begs you for one…
As far as musts in your purse. I carry a flashlight led,3 Inch folding knife for defense if needed and its great for a quick clean under your nails works better than a nail file, nail file, small note book for names and numbers and I made business cards with my name and number, ink pen, sunglasses and my new stop run for hose. money id and lipstick, gloss, perfume and body spray is a must. I also carry a change of shoes full make up kit, and other essential in a separate bag it was recommended on Opra in my car.
Unless I am going out at night, I always make sure that I have sunglasses quickly available. As I wear fake nails, I always make sure that I have some nail glue with me. It has come in handy a couple of times
Umbrella, small hairbrush, wallet with my DL/ID.
I never go out without a hair brush and ponytail holders.
