A beautiful pair of shoes or high heels can instantly make you feel more feminine and attractive.
But do you struggle to find stylish women’s shoes in your size?
In this article, I share my top places to shop for shoes for trans women and crossdressers – particularly if your feet are US women’s size 13 or larger!
How to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes
But first, let’s talk about how to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes. This actually varies a lot from country to country.
In the US and Australia, there’s approximately a 2 size difference between men’s and women’s shoes.
To find your women’s shoe size, simply add 2 sizes to your usual men’s shoe size. For example, a men’s US size 11 would be women’s US size 13.
If you are in the UK, Europe, or Asia, things are much easier since there’s no difference between men’s and women’s shoe sizes.
However, regardless of the size, keep in mind that men’s and women’s shoes are shaped slightly differently. Men’s shoes are usually wider at the heels.
For that reason, I always recommend trying on shoes before you buy them, rather than relying on the numerical size alone.
Now that you know your shoe size, let’s go shopping!
Long Tall Sally
The ultimate shopping destination for tall women, Long Tall Sally offers large size women’s shoes up to a US size 15. This UK based e-commerce site offers service and shipping within the US, UK, EU, and Australia.
Pleaser Shoes
While Pleaser Shoes prides itself on being the leader in sexy footwear, they offer a range of styles – from sexy to classic and pinup to goth. Most importantly, they offer women’s shoes up to a size 16.
Update: Our lovely reader Jolene has shared that with Pleasers, depending on the style of shoe, a trans woman or crossdresser may need to add THREE sizes to their male shoe size.
FSJ Shoes
FSJ Shoes is a China-based shoe manufacturer that offers a huge array of styles up to a size 15 US. Best of all, they also offer custom made shoes at affordable prices so you can make any shoe dream come true!
Zappos
Being the largest online shoe shop, it should come as no surprise that Zappos offers a wide range of shoes for women with big feet. Zappos also has a generous one-year return policy that includes free return shipping.
Amazon
Amazon has a surprising large selection of women’s shoes up to size 16, including pumps, flats, sandals, boots, and more. As an added bonus, many items are eligible for Prime delivery and free returns.
Payless
Who doesn’t love a good deal? While Payless only offers women’s shoes up to a size 13, they are a great option for affordable footwear if your feet are on the smaller side.
Ebay
Let’s not forget about good old eBay! Ebay has a huge selection of transgender and crossdressing shoes at some incredible bargains. The best part is that you can search for women’s shoes up to a size 19!

I have been very successful over time at Nordstrom Rack, in size 12 or 11W. They also have a good selection in size 13 (women’s sizes).
I absolutely agree… Nordstrom rack has given size 13 to me. Love it as a crossdresser
I don’t have lots of money to invest in shoes, so what I get must last a long time. I have found most of my best shoes at shoe outlets where I can get very high quality shoes at a discounted price. These places have also had more selections in my size (10w-11w) than retailers, AND these larger’ less popular sizes tend to be consolidated in outlets. I am still wearing some 3-year-old sandals and mary-janes, on nearly a daily basis…
….What I *really* miss is a nice pair of women’s penny loafers. I wore may last pair out after several repairs.*sigh*
I have a single pair of 2″ heel black patent pumps, but I only wear years on rare special occasions. I’m in flats at work and barefoot as much else as possible.
Blessings & Joy!!
I get all my shoes and boots and booties from justfab.com theu do sizes up to 46 uk size 10 they are stylish and they have never let me down and the clothes are gorgeous also newchic.com have larger sizes in shoes and boots kind regards Aiyona hunt
I would add RTBU (Refuse to be usual) for those who desire the highest heels, and more obscure footwear.

I myself have not bought there due lack of money, yet they scream ‘buy me’ for me at least.
I myself have bought Pleaser Domina until recently, the problem is they have not all sizes above EU40 (I have EU 42 yet somewhat wider) and that many models have been discontinued.
Another more Old location where I bought my shoes was the Little Shoebox in London..,they make them to measurements… the shop died however, but was taken over by one of the former shoemakers the company had and exists now as (Ilias Little shoebox) in London
I have had good luck at Zappos. They have shoes that are stylish and at a reasonable price. They actually have shoes you can walk in and don’t have 5,6, or 7 inch heels. I think those shoes are slutie.
DSW and Payless Shoes…
I’m looking for Womens size 14 wide shoes for my MTF daughter. Ive spent over 2 days online. Let me know if you find a store! Thanks
Torrid Womens store. They have wide widths up to 14. But, you should try them on because they run big. I wear a size 14 in women’s shoe but I wear a size 12 W in Torrids shoe.
Shoe.com I buy size17 regular
Can you tell me where to find casual shoes, or good for walking for my 18 yr old m to f niece who just wants something she can walk in and be young? She is size 16 women’s or 14 mens, and the traditional women’s shoes are too narrow. Trying to find shoes for her is becoming a serious mental health and physical safety issue for her! And the other sites I’ve found that cater to transgender women mainly have dress up shoes, nothing for casual young people. But she doesn’t want the typical masculine looking shoes that are in her size.
Propet shoes has some feminine options available, and they’ll even fit insoles! They’re not the most stylish, but certainly a very healthy shoe option.
Doc Martens come in just about every color under the sun, and they’re very wide-width friendly, though not cheap.
Pleaser Shoes (despite the off-putting site) does have very cute ballet flats in size 16W, while their sister site Demonia is popular in the goth fields (and they make great plus size shoes, very cute, but they’re not as hardy). Basically, their whole pleasershoes.com site is very helpful and they have multiple brands going up to a size 16.
I hope this helps!
