A beautiful pair of shoes or high heels can instantly make you feel more feminine and attractive.
But do you struggle to find stylish women’s shoes in your size?
In this article, I share my top places to shop for shoes for trans women and crossdressers – particularly if your feet are US women’s size 13 or larger!
How to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes
But first, let’s talk about how to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes. This actually varies a lot from country to country.
In the US and Australia, there’s approximately a 2 size difference between men’s and women’s shoes.
To find your women’s shoe size, simply add 2 sizes to your usual men’s shoe size. For example, a men’s US size 11 would be women’s US size 13.
If you are in the UK, Europe, or Asia, things are much easier since there’s no difference between men’s and women’s shoe sizes.
However, regardless of the size, keep in mind that men’s and women’s shoes are shaped slightly differently. Men’s shoes are usually wider at the heels.
For that reason, I always recommend trying on shoes before you buy them, rather than relying on the numerical size alone.
Now that you know your shoe size, let’s go shopping!
Long Tall Sally
The ultimate shopping destination for tall women, Long Tall Sally offers large size women’s shoes up to a US size 15. This UK based e-commerce site offers service and shipping within the US, UK, EU, and Australia.

Nordstrom Rack for upscale footwear. Payless and the occasional find at Ross are my usual hunting grounds.Even shoes that seem comfortable at first can get less so as the hours pass.
Needing help I wear a size 18 to 20 in men’s shoes I can’t find anything that’s fem
I wear a 13/14 and struggle to find a nice seal and my thighs. Mostly I’ve come across stripper looking heels or 1 or 2 inch heels. I like 4 inch and maybe five depending on the style but they are really hard to find in a practical price. I have found a few of the highest heels brand through pierresibler.com and snaz75.com that are comfy and stylish but when new designs and styles come out the largest sizes are generally left out. I’ve gotten lucky and have found some cuties at Payless that were comfortable. I will check out the above sites. Thanks
Pierre Silber has a wide variety of sizes and some really great prices too:)

I’m pretty lucky to have size 10 feet and I can generally find shoes that fit. beware of online retailers, though, because ladies shoe sizes vary in actual dimensions and sometimes the fit is pretty bad.
I’m lucky I wear a size 91/2 or 10 m. so I shop any store with comfort, I like DSW and payless best, trying on shoes is just too much fun.
I generally buy my shoes, womens 10, at Ross, Kohl, DSW Payless and Famous Footwear. I’ve had pretty good luck.
I take a size 14 in high heels. I love the shoes. I use pleaser or any one that has a size 14. These shoes look beautiful.
