A beautiful pair of shoes or high heels can instantly make you feel more feminine and attractive.
But do you struggle to find stylish women’s shoes in your size?
In this article, I share my top places to shop for shoes for trans women and crossdressers – particularly if your feet are US women’s size 13 or larger!
How to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes
But first, let’s talk about how to convert between men’s and women’s shoe sizes. This actually varies a lot from country to country.
In the US and Australia, there’s approximately a 2 size difference between men’s and women’s shoes.
To find your women’s shoe size, simply add 2 sizes to your usual men’s shoe size. For example, a men’s US size 11 would be women’s US size 13.
If you are in the UK, Europe, or Asia, things are much easier since there’s no difference between men’s and women’s shoe sizes.
However, regardless of the size, keep in mind that men’s and women’s shoes are shaped slightly differently. Men’s shoes are usually wider at the heels.
For that reason, I always recommend trying on shoes before you buy them, rather than relying on the numerical size alone.
Now that you know your shoe size, let’s go shopping!
Long Tall Sally
The ultimate shopping destination for tall women, Long Tall Sally offers large size women’s shoes up to a US size 15. This UK based e-commerce site offers service and shipping within the US, UK, EU, and Australia.
Pleaser Shoes
While Pleaser Shoes prides itself on being the leader in sexy footwear, they offer a range of styles – from sexy to classic and pinup to goth. Most importantly, they offer women’s shoes up to a size 16.
Update: Our lovely reader Jolene has shared that with Pleasers, depending on the style of shoe, a trans woman or crossdresser may need to add THREE sizes to their male shoe size.
FSJ Shoes
FSJ Shoes is a China-based shoe manufacturer that offers a huge array of styles up to a size 15 US. Best of all, they also offer custom made shoes at affordable prices so you can make any shoe dream come true!

Being the largest online shoe shop, it should come as no surprise that Zappos offers a wide range of shoes for women with big feet. Zappos also has a generous one-year return policy that includes free return shipping.
Amazon
Amazon has a surprising large selection of women’s shoes up to size 16, including pumps, flats, sandals, boots, and more. As an added bonus, many items are eligible for Prime delivery and free returns.

Sorry for the multiple postings — I wish there were an edit function. The best thing to do with many of the sites I mentioned is to get on their email list, so that you can be notified of sales markdowns. I have seen sales discounts ranging from 10-40% (not usually on the CL or JC sites). Also, use the Capital One and Rakuten apps to get cash back. Amounts have ranged from 1-15%.
Oops — I forgot a vendor: Sarah Flint. Not inexpensive, but very well made.
Thank you for your suggestions! I’ve given up trying to find women’s shoes that fit me and are wearable. I have one pair of black flats I like but stopped wearing them because the manufacture no longer makes them in that size. Can’t recall the brand, but i think it’s European. Looked all over the web for a replacement but they just didn’t have them in size 14 anymore. I now where a pair of black men’s Skechers pretty much everywhere, they are comfy and fit me. I am familiar with all of the sites you listed here except FSG Shoes, the website of which does not seem to be working. (It won’t load.) I wear size 14 women’s. Payless only goes to size 11 or 12, very occasionally 13.
In addition to the ones already mentioned by others, I have had success finding my size (11 men’s – 13 women’s) with the following online vendors:
Christian Louboutin (on very rare occasions when I treat myself); Jimmy Choo (same); Dolce Vita; Nordstrom; Nordstrom Rack; and Samuel Edelman. Dolce Vita has the largest selection. Samuel Edelman has these sizes in their Icon line. I used to also purchase from Macy’s, but they seem to have recently changed the brands and sizes that they carry.
Every cross dresser deserves fabulous footwear!
I LOVE to be in heels, I have a sizable collection that I am able to pick from and being rather short, a size 7.5 men’s, I generally wear a size 10 women’s size
I wear women’s size 11, 2 sizes up from a men’s 9 & they fit just fine. DSW is My go-to shoe store.
Payless by the way sells some hideous shoe styles.
I wear a size 6 so i dont really have a problem finding a shoe or sandal i wear most of the time flats too
