Are you someone who doesn’t fit traditional gender norms?
Whether you’re a crossdresser, transgender woman, or embrace a different gender identity, it’s clear that society still has a lot to learn about gender non-conforming people.
Do you agree?
If so, let’s shed some light!
What do you wish people understood about you?
Whether it’s the people closest to you or the world at large, what message would you like to share?
The more voices and perspectives out there, the more others will hopefully begin to understand.
I’d love to hear from you, so please share in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I would wish for not only a tolerance towards transgenders but a genuine interest that leads to enlightenment beyond the rhetoric so common and full of misconceptions.
In my own family dynamics have been strained after I revealed more of my private life to them recently in an effort to continue to become more of what provides the inner peace from acceptance. Many talk openmindedness until they find a person close to them is different than what they assumed them to be. My hope would be for society to follow their heart and not the trail of a bigoted herd.
We are just basically expressing our more feminine feelings and inner nature and want to be perceived as being humans like everyone else. We are no threat to anyone and honestly understand and appreciate both the masculine and feminine sides of ourselves. Our outward expression is just the manifestation of our inner selves and do not intend to make a statement or pose discomfort toward others or in our relationships.
Whether it’s the people closest to you or the world at large, what do you want them to know?
I’m not crazy or sick wearing the opposite sexes clothes! I am comfortable as a woman, it has a calming effect on me. I am not a drag queen but someone who likes wearing soft and silky clothes. I am a hetero male.
I wish that the medical community would be more responsive and proactive from seeing shrinks to getting hormones why don’t they want to believe that we are female inside and we just want the outside to match. They should just let us sign a release to not prosecute if we change our mind later and help use with what we need!
I wish people understood that even though I want to be a girl that doesn’t necessarily mean I like males. I still like girls.
Or that I don’t always understand what they say right away. And that they sometimes need to explain things.
Just to be able to express and present my self as a woman everyday without having to worry what society may think of me. I know that I would be even a better citizen of this Great Country of ours. I would be so happy that I’m not lying to myself or anyone else I know and Love. I hope everyone on this Awesome website has a Merry Christmas ⛄️⛪️ and a Happy New Year!!!
I wish people would understand and recognize me as a woman. Even tho I have male traits.
I dislike how being trans seems like sun and flowers. It’s not always bright. I’ve been on Hrt since June and all I’ve felt is physical and mental pain. Needless to say I’m depressive. I had to look out for suicide help too. Now I’m holding up thanks to my supportive family, but thats not the case for most of us. I was gifted. If only the media reflected what we go throught, maybe then we can have a decent society.
