If you’re like many of my transgender or crossdressing readers, you might not be able to present yourself as a woman each day.
That doesn’t mean you have to lose your female side when it’s time to put on the pants!
In this post, I share 5 ways to stay in touch with your femininity – even in male mode.
1. Wear Women’s Underwear
Let’s start with the most obvious tip, shall we? Wearing women’s underwear underneath your male clothing is the easiest way to connect with your feminine self on a daily basis.
Aside from that, women’s panties tend to be more comfortable than men’s boxers or briefs. Plus, they come in loads of cute and sexy styles to add some secret pizazz to your outfit.
2. Try Stealth Crossdressing
Wearing lingerie under your clothes is a classic, but why stop there? Sneaking a piece of women’s clothing into your daily outfit is a great way to feel girly.
A lot of women’s clothing can pass for unisex, so try wearing women’s:
- Basic tees
- Button-down shirts
- Jeans and pants
Don’t forget about accessories! You could also play with wearing women’s boots or using a tote bag as a laptop bag or briefcase.
3. Apply Incognito Makeup
There are lots of ways to incorporate makeup into your daily look, even when presenting as a male. Here are 4 must-have makeup items:
- Concealer or foundation – Apply a thin layer to cover under eye circles or blemishes.
- Setting powder – Apply to shiny spots on your face, like the nose or forehead.
- Clear mascara – Use it to make your eyelashes look subtly longer and fuller.
- Uncolored lipstick – Instead of boring Chapstick, care for your lips with a clear lipstick.
4. Use the Power of Scent
Scents have a powerful effect on your brain chemistry and mood, so this is a great way to connect with your feminine side.
Wear women’s perfume instead of cologne. Musky fragrances are the most unisex, so you can wear them without anybody knowing your secret. (Check out my article on perfume to learn more about choosing the right scent.)
Another option is to burn a scented candle with a feminine fragrance in your home or office.
5. Keep Reminders of Your Female Self
Another tip is to surround yourself with reminders of the woman within.
One way to do this is through photos. Keep photos of your femme self on your phone, in your wallet, or even framed and hung up so you can see them often.
You could also carry around items personalized with your feminine name, such as a necklace, keychain, or coffee mug.
6. Try Feminizing Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a powerful way to increase confidence, reprogram habits and behaviors, and improve the way you express yourself as a woman.
Best of all, it’s the ultimate mental escape – allowing you to connect with you female self regardless of your current situation.

How do YOU stay connected?
In an ideal world, you’d be free to present yourself as a woman whenever and wherever you wanted. Until then, I hope this gives you ideas for expressing your female side anytime you want!

Wearing pantyhose pantie bra heels dress all the time.love dressing like a woman love pantyhose love pantyhose love pantyhose love pantyhose.i want to be a woman so so much omg i love dressing like a woman love pantyhose love pantyhose i want to be a woman so so much omg i love dressing like a woman. I wear women’s cloths all the time when I go out in male mode. I have 4 pairs of jeans – skinny (which I don’t wear outside the house), straight leg with skinny legs, boot cut, and I just got a pair of plain straight leg. I wear women’s sneakers (solid gray but still women’s) everyday when I’m out and women’s snow boots that I wear with my boot cut jeans when necessary. I also have women’s long sleeve button down shits (you are right that no one really notices) and have been thinking about tee shirts, polo shirts, and shorts that aren’t overly feminine (burmuda shorts that aren’t skinny but I may change my mind on that) for the summer. I never had much hair on my legs, so if my legs being hairless now shouldn’t matter much. I wear women’s glasses full time (if the glasses are basic, no one will know. It’s the more elaborate glasses to avoid in male mode). I wear panties all the time. Since I have gynecomastia, I wear bras as long as they aren’t underwire that makes them stand out more. I love pantyhose so I wear them all the time or knee highs – very rarely will I wear socks. I have also been looking for a woman’s coat to wear in the winter that doesn’t scream women’s coat, but have not had much success with that.
The button down shirt makes sense, I might have to try that at school.
In winters always we can wear bra under winterwears as these are thick and nobody can realize a girl among them…and panty we can wear whole of the year…it is sufficiet to remain girly 24 hrs…we can wear anklets in our socks and can carry clip on earrings and nosepin in our wallet so we can use it anytime to feel girly..and one more thing…use girls toilet for urinating in always sitting position like women..it will feel awesome.
I wear girl shorts and Vee neck Tee’s everyday, and I love it. On the rare occasion that I have to wear boy shorts I hate it. The 4.5″ leg is the longest I can stand.
This week I bought some Maybelline New York The Nudes Eyeshadow palette, and I love it. There are many shades in the kit and they are very light. I’ve been wearing them every day this week and they just add a wonderful level of femininity to my life, that doesent scream HEY LOOK I’M A GURL.

I’m an almost 44 yr old construction type worker (not by choice but for financial reasons) who longs to feel feminine all day. Being totally closeted and surrounded by close minded homophobes at work, trying to slip in a woman’s garment or perfume is, for my situation, just too risky. Here are ways I stay connected to my beautiful inner woman:
1. Adjustable toe rings: nobody can see them inside my socks and work boots, but I feel them all day long and make a “ritual” out of putting them on every morning before work.
2. Anklets: Again, they are safely concealed under my socks and boots so nobody knows they’re there but me!
3. Temporary tattoos: Yeah, might sound weird, but I like putting sexy, feminie temp tats around my special area. Unfortunately I am only smooth/hairless between my navel and thighs as I do need to wear shorts during these damn heat waves we keep having. I like hearts and butterflies and put them on my inner thighs and pelvic regions. Again, I know they’re there and can look at them when I have to use the bathroom during work hours.
Hope this helps!
p.s. sometimes I’ll wear panties under my jeans, but usually not during the spring or summer as I spend a lot of time hunched over/on my knees working and am constantly pulling my pants up!

Oh yes Bri toe rings and anklites are something I wear every day feels so feminine
I feel your pain, as I also work in a field where I can’t expose my true self. I’m always wearing panties and nail polish on my toes. But that’s about as far as I can go at work. Still waiting for someone to show up at my door with a huge box of money.
I tried a couple of times and it didn´t work well. I prefer to wear skirts, blouses, even T-shirts, of course with bras and cleveage. I don´t know. I never tried again.
“Sussy”…I am very much like you…I love to wear my Matching Bras & Panties !!!
I do some of these things. I keep my nails done even in guy mode, usually try to put my hair up in a more girly way when I have to have it tied back at work, I wear a pink hair tie on my wrist as a subtle hint and even still take my purse with me when I leave the house. Sometimes I wear my fishnets or hosery under my jeans because it makes me feel like a super hero hiding her true identity under the mundane alter ego. It’s a reminder that the filthy work uniform isn’t who I am, it’s only a disguise for the times when it isn’t socially acceptable to be my true self.
