When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I am a transgender woman. Is seems clearer and easier for another person to understand than a Transwoman.
Which “label” do you identify with?
Transgender woman
Crossdresser
Transwoman
T-girl
Something else?
At first…confused
Later…Crossdresser
Later…Trans-curious
Now…I know who and what I am….importantly to myself and my loved ones……..ME!
Me
No, not really I don’t ”do” labels, even when not ”dressed” I am frequently taken for a woman, I used to worry about it, as I was afraid of Consequence’s, but now I don’t even bother to correct people when they call me Mrs, madam, or Ms, it really doesn’t seem to matter how I dress, unless I try to be overtly masculine in manner, speech, and body language, I am often though not always perceived as female!
This has been a feature of my life for years, just about as long as I can remember, I just don’t worry now, I often carry a shoulder bag, wear bright colours, coordinate my outfits, wear ankle boots or low heel pumps.
I use feminine toiletries, and pretty much always have, I only wear feminine underwear, not as some sort of fetish but just because I’m comfy and it feels natural.
So what am I?, why do we need labels, just celebrate being you!
I want to say, “something else”. I don’t know what I am, from a child I always was attracted to female things. I now wear panties 24/7 and try to wear female clothing as much as possible. I don’t get excited( sexually) when I’m wearing them, it just seems natural.
i am very proud to be a cross dresser and i have been building up a wardrobe of women’s clothes for me to wear when i dress like a woman and i have began to even start to think like a woman and i just like the way a look like a woman when i dress like a woman
