When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
Hi Lucille,
I don’t label myself. When I’m asked to I say female with the wrong reperductive equipment.
Because that is what I am. I don’t worry so much about what other people think because
we all have opinions and that is what makes us who we are. I have always lived my life to
always be honest with somebody about my birth defect. If they can accept it ok if they can’t
well that is there problem not mine!
Love to all.

I see myself as a “cross-dresser” because it’s the term I feel most comfortable with although I think it does signify “different”. For me it’s about head to toe dressing, looking as feminine as I can, wearing lovely clothes etc – I love the whole experience and enjoy my time as Angela both in and out of the house.
At the forefront I am a person with feelings, and labeling my gender/sex is only a topic/issue when people dont have it to face and live on a second to second basis. Do I hold up a banner saying I am different or special? No I feel that every second of my life. When there are physical changes I feel enhanced even with the subtle changes. When all the confusion clears I am a Woman in a Male body in a un-friendly gender world!!
I’m a ‘Tranny’ not a transvestite or crossdresser. A Tranny is a Tramp!
I don’t like labels really, but I have got into the habit of saying I am a gay tranny when shopping for femme wear.I am hoping to develope physically in time now, because inside me is a woman who needs to be free.
Labels are the worst thing the world and us girls get attached with. Iam totally transgendering, for I know who I am and do not care what others think. In fact all the ladies I know are 100% supportive and helping.
Hi Lucille
I have been a crossdresser for many years but I have also started to grow my own breasts not sure that I want to go the whole way and change gender though.
I would love to have longer nipples and slighly larger breasts so not sure what label could apply to me.
As so many people have said why bother with labels just be who or what you are or want to be.
I try to forget about labels and just think of myself as a woman. Even in male mode I try to act and deport my self in an (unobtrusive) female way – I speak softly and gently, and walk and move in a reasonably elegant way. I never wear male clothes of any sort. All my clothes are female although in many cases they are not noticeably so.
It’s wonderful to live a (mostly) female life – I don’t envy men at all 🙂
Ciao
