Have you ever felt like you looked more feminine or attractive when you were younger?
If so, you’re not alone – many crossdressers and trans women have shared the same feeling with me.
The good news? You can look beautiful and feminine at any age!
While we can’t stop the clock, there are simple things you can do to recapture that youthful glow.
In this post, I’ll share 7 easy tips to help you look younger and feel more confident on your feminization transformation journey.
1. Choose the Right Hairstyle
Hair has a huge impact on your appearance. Long hair is undoubtedly feminine, but remember that excessively long hair can accentuate signs of aging.
Consider these styles for a fresh, youthful look:
- Shoulder length hair: Universally flattering and youthful.
- Bangs: Cute, youthful, and great for concealing forehead wrinkles.
2. Embrace Your Sensual Side
While you shouldn’t dress like a 20 year old, you definitely want to avoid looking like a buttoned-up old lady.
Here are some ways to add a bit of youthful sex appeal to your look:
- Wear high heels and playful stockings.
- Choose clothing in sensual fabrics like lace, velvet, and fur.
- Show some skin (tastefully, of course).

3. Get Enough Sleep
We all need our beauty rest, and as you age, the effects of sleep deprivation become more apparent on your face.
Under-eye bags, dark circles, and lackluster skin can detract from a feminine look, so make sure to prioritize sleep.
4. Add Some Color to Your Wardrobe
If you tend to stick with black or neutral tones, consider incorporating some bright colors into your wardrobe.
Vibrant colors add a youthful energy and vitality to your appearance.
5. Whiten Your Teeth and Eyes
Your teeth can give away your age – over time, they often turn yellow or gray.
Whitening them can freshen up your whole face and make you look younger. Products like Crest White Strips are an easy and affordable way to brighten your smile.
The same idea applies to your eyes. Making the whites of your eyes look brighter can instantly lift your whole appearance.
LUMIFY Redness Reliever Eye Drops are a great option – they whiten your eyes without causing the rebound redness some other drops can.
6. Use the Right Skin Care Products
While most skin creams may not live up to their “miracle in a bottle” claims, there are specific ingredients that have demonstrated anti-aging benefits.
Combat wrinkles and firm your skin by using products containing ingredients such as:
- Retinoids
- Vitamin C
- Growth factors
- Peptides
- Hyaluronic acid
You can easily find affordable products with these ingredients at your local drugstore.
If you really want to take things up a notch, consider using an anti-aging skincare device. My favorite beauty devices include:
- Medicube Age-R Booster Pro
- Omnilux Contour Face LED Light Therapy Mask
- ZIIP HALO Nanocurrent and Microcurrent Facial Toning Device
7. Smile
Yes, it’s a cliché, but it’s true – a smile is the quickest way to enhance your appearance.
Smiling elevates your cheeks and functions like an instant facelift. Plus, it makes you look more pleasant and approachable when presenting yourself as a woman.
Beautiful at every age

Hii girls.
We Tgirls need to take a few pointers from any girlfriends we can muster up to our side. I had quite the friend who was a huge help to me and my transitioning from years ago and I still use what we and several of other ladies discussed for beauty secrets. Basically, everything said in this posting is what I have been doing since I started into my fem side of life. I’m now 61 and proud of my ability to pull it off to look youthful according to those I meet as they’re shocked at my age. One thing I would add to the list here is to keep the weight in check. I’m a full figure gal and wish I wasn’t. I’m about to go on a weight loss journey with a nutritionist. It’s expensive, but I think it’ll be worth it. Stay away from the gray hair, but do keep some for your age. Don’t fret so much about your looks. That smile that drives people mad is the polish on everything. Just be the confident you and don’t be shy. Good luck!
CKR….
WHEN I saw just how Pretty you are,I had to stop and comment.
At 73, my best days are behind me, while yours are here, now and ahead.
You are doing every correctly, and looking fabulous.
Later, Dr T.J.
Pics for your evaluation.
Hi T.J.! You always look great! Your best days are still ahead for you! We are both the same age, and I go out all the time as Suzy and love it. I love the outfits you wear. Very flattering! Here I am about a month ago at the mall. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi,I don’t drink,don’t smoke,I have a healthy diet,seafood,avocados,salads,chicken,milk,etc…I also exercise,run & cycle,I’m 46,I will be 47 in March,a lot of people think I’m a teenager,it’s funny,like I’m aging backwards or something. thank yu!….
Hi again – after reading the blog again, I think the only rule I don’t follow is getting enough sleep! Sigh! I think a big nights sleep for me is maybe six hours. Otherwise I pretty much follow Lucille’s points. At 73 now and retired, I just find it now much easier to be a woman than I did in my earlier years. Here I am again doing my thing at a local mall. If you didn’t know, I love shopping!
Awesome Suzy. I’m 71 and I agree, it’s easier to be a woman now than when I was young. I think a lot of it has to do with the changes in society and our acceptance. The freedom in our minds have allowed us to blossom into who we were meant to be. You go girl, you’re an inspiration.
Thanks Jennifer! Yes, I really do feel so much more confident now at my age than earlier in life. It just feels so much more natural to me living as a woman now. I pretty much live my life now 24/7 as a female and love it! I’m always treated as a lady and just try to blend in as any other woman doing her thing. Here is another recent photo of me out and about!
Tu est magnifique, bisous
Thanks!

“PASSABLE ON STEROIDS”!
I’m 61 and try to take care of myself. I exercise daily by walking, doing yoga and yard work. I use quality skin products and don’t wear too much make up. I dress sexy but age appropriate. I eat healthy most of the time and try get enough sleep. Most of all I attempt to live as worry free as possible and take each day as it comes. Stress can cause premature aging. I embrace each day and enjoy my life.
Keeping my face really hydrated before makeup really helps keep my skin glowing
