It’s amazing how much our names shape our identities. Some names feel like a perfect fit from the start, while others never quite resonate with us.
However, crossdressers and transgender women have the unique opportunity to choose their own feminine names.
Every great MTF name has a story behind it, and I’d love to hear YOURS.
How did you choose your feminine name?
Please tell us your story in the comments below, and if you can, share a photo too. It’s always lovely to put a face to a name!
Love,
Lucille

sorry about that my message sent prematurely Lol *Jenny*
My name was Joseph added, and made it Josephine Leela that is my feminine name.
I chose my name as it was the fem side of birth name. I first used it on my first outing in public. I sorta cheated as it was a Queen for a day at my fraternal club. But, I had everyone wanting to know who the new girl was. Total success, i was ecstatic needless to say. Hugs and kisses all
I used to call my self Cissy, as that is my mothers name. In later years I dated a girl named Crystal, who treated me very badly. We have maintained a great friendship despite the past, and I want to tell her so badly. I have contemplated sending her pics, but always chicken out. I probably should someday…..crystal

You know imitation is said to be the truest and sincerestl form of flattery. Form copys admiration in this case TELL HER!!!!””YOU REALLY REALLY NEED TO. I chose Lesley because it seemed always to be there since childhood. As a child I knew that if I had been a girl it was the name I would have chosen. I have never thought about why, it just seems natural. I am new to crossdressing seriously, and trying to learn how to pass as normal, and am not yet confident enough to take a photo, far less post one, but hopefully I will grow as a woman and become more secure in my female persona.
I chose Danielle because it’s the feminine form of the name given to me at birth. Had I been born a girl, it’s what my name would have been.
Hi everyone,
I choose Paula because it’s my name and middle initial. I find this on boarding passes when I travel which gets looks from TSA agents:) I definitely don’t mind and so wish I could travel en fem with matching ID. My middle girl name is Ann which was my mom’s name….I know she’d embrace me as Paula Ann. I miss her.
Love,
Paula Ann

here is my story:
Flying While Crossdressed
This will take a while to write about, but here goes. While I was back east I had read a few stories about “Flying while crossdressed”, this caught my interest as I will be flying home later this week. I read about the fact that most airlines do not care and TSA only requires you to show your identification that match’s the ticket and have not rules against flying crossdressed. If they question something the worst that my happen is a private search by the sex you represent.
I went back and forth about doing it and finally decide to do as this would most likely be my only shoot. So I decide that when I go the airport I would check in my luggage while dressed as male and then have my change of clothing in my carry on. After I check my luggage in, I found one of the “family restrooms” to change in. I began to change and was interrupted by knocks on the door a couple of times, I said I would be a few minutes. So i got my denim skirt and top on (bra, panties, hip pads, breast forms and shoes on) along with my wig. I did not do my makeup as some one needed the room. I stepped out and went about my business and found another “family restrooms”. to complete my make up in. Know one seemed to notice or care. Once everything was done, I was getting all hot and sweaty so I took a short walk out side to cool off. Then back inside and found a place to sit down and do my nails. People just walked by no looks or comments.
Know for the hard part, going through the TSA check point. I decide to go earlier to allow for any needed interaction so if needed I could change back and still make my flight. I was nervous (got out my boarding pass which had my male name and my drivers license). While waiting in the long line, I was hopping for a female to check me in (I thought that might go better). I was in luck, She just looked at my license and pass and looked at me and said have a good flight Mrs. ____ with a smile (no more or less). On to the next step, going through the physical check, taking off the shoes and going through the scanner. As luck would have it, it was a full body scanner and when I came out the officer said wait here we need to check something out. The next thing i know a female officer came over and was told to feel my legs and hips. She did and everything checked out and on I went. Wow what a trip. By this point I was so nervous I need to use the bathroom and wanted to check my make up. So I found a women’s restroom and went in, in to the stall did my thing and out to the mirror to check my make up. I do pass, but not as a good looking women. I brushed my hair and redid my lip stick and dapped the sweat off and left to my gate.
At the gate check, all they did was take the pass and scanned it and if (did not look at the name, and it was ok on I went. Found my seat and waited to find out who would be seated next to me. Well it was a elderly gentlemen and did not say a word just closed his eyes the whole flight (1 1/2 hours). Got off the plane and went to the restroom (women’s of course). Check the make up and off to find something to eat while I waited for my next flight. I may have gotten a few looks but no comments while I purchased my fast food and sat and ate it, but no problems. This was so fun. Then on to my next boarding gate and waited and people watched. Got on the next plan ( no looks or comment) until a middle aged couple sat down in the seats next to me. I asked if she wanted the elbow rest up or down and she said up so we had a little more room. For the next five hours no conversation was had expect when they offered us drinks and the clean up. I sleep a little and just sat there. She move around while she slept and ended up putting her arm on my thigh and her legs rubbed up against mine a couple of times but nothing else was said or any looks.
Again got off the plane and now I had to change back as I need to go home dressed as a male. What a bummer. I would do it again if I get the chance. Just remember to do as women would do and you should not have a problem. try it!!!!!
You look so happy, confident and natural I now have someone to aspire to and admire. I hope to look like you in future as I develop my femail me.
