Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I wear nail polish on both my finger and toe nails when I go to my local straight bar, almost every night. I don’t go out dressed except for Pride and some photos
The thing about going out for the first time is those lonely secluded places may have hidden dangers , Best thing to do is to find other like yourself or who is accepting of you and if there is no one then go out on your own , But go in semi public places , Keep in mind if you have dressed accordingly chances are if you go out of a town most of the time you wont be recognized . A simple trip to wal mart late at night or early in the morning 5am -9am . If your still unsure then wait till a week or 2 before Halloween , you can always give the excuse that you were at a costume party where you dressed as the opposite sex , Then after that it wouldn’t hurt to go out all the way up until Christmas , As anything you buy can be returned and you have the excuse your buying for someone else .
I generally only dress at home, but my personal ‘challenge’ is when I receive mail for the owner of my rented accommodation, I have to deliver it to the letting agents ‘en-femme’. This involves getting into my car, driving about five miles, then walking fifty yards or so to the agents letter box. It’s always a thrill!!
I am a full time transgender female and I am even accepted at work and any other place as a lady. Just found out that I am ready for my final surgery for the full transformation.
I like to go for rides dressed in a short skirt or dress. But most of the time I let my fem side out only at home. This past summer I spent my vacation on our deck, in a two piece or shorts and top. I even went so far as to lay out in the sun nude. But for me it does not really matter what I wear, I feel like a Girl inside..I always have and I always feel fem and sexy.
I live as female (which sounds weird to say, because as I see it I am female) it’s mostly boring day to day, work, shopping regular stuff. Scary as hell sometimes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I rarely get clocked, so I’m lucky I guess. But my advice to anyone building up to those first steps, go for it 🙂
Although most of my femme time is at home with my conditionally understanding wife I do venture out occasionally to the bank or drive thru fast food and sometimes just a trip across town and I always worry about what could happen if I got pulled over or in an accident but the thrill of being out in public in full female mode is such a great feeling and I try very hard to present as a confident woman . Still get the jitters each time I venture out as Cynthia but I am getting more comfortable with it. Some of my immediate family caught me dressing in my teen years but I have kept my feminine side just between my wife and I since then. Most of my friends and family would not be very understanding if they knew so I will continue to keep Cynthia not so common knowledge.
Cynthia, you are absolutely beautiful. You look like a Southern Peach.
Thank you
