Do you go out in public as a woman?
If the answer is no, you’re not alone. Nearly 75% of my readers rarely or never leave the house en femme.
While going out en femme can be exciting and empowering, it’s not the only way to express your feminine side as a crossdresser or transgender woman.
Whether you choose to go out or keep it private, both options are valid!
This is an important topic, and I’d love to know what you think.
Where do YOU present yourself as a woman?
- Strictly in the privacy of your own home?
- At select places – like nightclubs, meetups, or conferences?
- Anywhere and everywhere as a full time woman?

I go to my VA appointments dressed
I would like to be able to be myself all the time. It’s hard to. Have to have two different images and names, but that’s the way it is for now. I get to dress feminine when I am with trusted friends, my therapist, and a small women’s group that I belong to. At work and at home I have to wear boy clothes. I can’t stand it. I can’t stand it. My friends accept me as female. It feels so good to just be myself. I’m
So much more confident, secure, less stressed out. I feel like a creative whole person. It’s not just dressing it’s the whole thing. I am Jessica. But if I show that to everyone then my entire relationship with family will be gone. I’m married. My wife already made that clear. She will take our son and leave. She supports me but she won’t be with a girl. My parents and sister would never talk to me again. I know The question was about how often are you en femme. Well it’s not about femme it’s about being who you are. I’m really q good girl. I love my
Myself as a girl. Others like me, respect me and take me seriously. I have more of a voice as a girl. But the idea that I was a boy and now J am trying to look like a girl that doesn’t fly with some.
I am trying to go pretty much full time. Each new step is a new adventure. I am ALWAYS enfemmed when home. My 1st time out enfemmed was driving around the area. The rush was increditable. Then I stopped and gassed the car up. Imagine that, out in public where anyone stopping at the station or driving by could see me. Then there was the LGBT bars. That was a super boost in confidence. And when I went walking around a couple of the little shopping centers and some of the local parks I became amazed that no one seemed to notice or cared that I am a crossdresser. But the one that got me the most was coming back from a shopping center and I decided that I was hungry and I stopped at a Mickey “D’s”. Absolutely no one seemed to notice me. Now I feel like the woman I want to be.
Often times when I travel and am able to drive while dressed. I have ventured out at times trying to go shopping but not successful yet.
i do most full drag in the winter. then i can go all out with lingerie and outfits without. getting them a sweaty, but do love to dress up when i clean the house every weekend. that way i can trap my self in a dress or skirt. until i have every thing done which usauly takes all day. that is when ifeel the grearest. there have time i did go out as a woman, but that had been in the past. when i had been thin with no facial fat. now it is becoming to hard to do it.
The journey that I have been taking for the last 13 years, has been most interesting, from starting purchasing clothes from “op – shops” and rushing home to see if ( a )they fit ( b) suit and ( c ) appropriate to now shopping in major shopping malls and purchasing outfits to fly interstate ( within Australia) .
I guess it also helps residing in an environment where the mentality is changing for the better 🙂
