Choosing the right words to describe your gender identity can feel tricky. For transgender and non-binary people, finding a label that fits is personal and important.
Using respectful language matters. Outdated or offensive terms can hurt, so it’s okay to set boundaries about how others address you.
At the same time, you are more than a label. What matters most is how you choose to define yourself, no matter where you are on the gender spectrum.
Do you have a label that feels right – like crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary, or something else?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!

I’m a simple crossdresser, satisfied with being male but love dressing up completely or just wearing something underneath no one knows about (unless they look too closely). i would like to see the day I could walk around in public without causing the whispers or offended looks on faces if i forgot to shave or put on makeup
As often as I can I present as Caroline.I always think of myself as female…why not?
Gender-fluid balancing my alter ego’s 30% Male 70% Female
Hello my dear bestie, Jackie found or come upon your name on Femme Secrets and since I know only one person with such a unique and personal name as yours it’s gotta be my Bestie. Love U
I have wanted to be a woman since I can remember.
I am a crossdresser MTF transfeminine.
A crosdresser
I am simply a woman, who happens to be trans, having been born in the wrong body.
I identify as as female, and my pronouns are her, hers, miss, and she. I’m all girl at heart, mind, and soul. I dress female, act female, and do everything to look female, and I always live as the girl I am and was supposed to be. “I’m A GIRL.”
I intenditify myself as a woman and nothing more. Especcially when I do Larisa Renar female practice. Her grandmother made young men mad when she was about 70.
