When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
i alays thought i was a tomboy in a guy,s body i have a highvoice (my cousin hates it) and i walk like a girl i dont like any sport that isint a martial art and i dont mind wearing girls clothes i dont regnocise my self as a boy or a girl i say im a little of both
Interestingly i have just returned from a long weekend away with the ‘girls’ and this was one of the topics of conversation over dinner. Our conclusion, and indeed what i had long since thought was that even if you put 150 TG’s in a room you would still need 150 different labels. We all felt a little put out about being grouped together and were all incensed about being lumped in with sexual deviants and paedophiles. We are all just people, different, in our own way but who gets to say whats right or wrong in the way we present ourselves.
Love Mandy from the UK.
As I’ve lived in my chosen gender more than half my life I prefer the ususal female labels. I don’t have a problem with ts or transgendered in the appropriate context. I do appreciate the work you do, Lucille, and wish you all my best.

I agree it bothers me that people can’t tell the difference in the labels. I personally consider myself a Cross-dresser.
I Fine Label so funny. If that make some one feel better so be it. Life is so funny to take so serius. I have been so many labels all of my life . grip photographer vidographer OOOOh and biker girl…….Ha Ha Ha ………..Christine
i want to wish u a belated birthday.but i dont get on the computer all that much.ive got a phouto of my self that im gona send to u in tha mail mabe u can put it with all the outhers.but inny way i hope u had a graet birthday.
these are realy all just labels to alow society to put us in little boxes
at the present as i am half way between states in that the only thing in my bra is me but there is to much in my knickers i would consider myself transgender. on completion of reasignment i will consider myself transexual but only in the extent of the frustration remembered in the passed. as far as the little boxes are concerned on completion it will be female. and female only.
I am a woman beneath the skin and in my mind, but somehow a cruel joke was played on me and I was somehow born with a member. I am not out yet but dont really care if someone finds out because its their issue if they have a problem with it. I only worry about the repercussions my mother will face if our community found out
