When it comes to expressing your gender identity, navigating labels can be tricky. For those identifying as transgender or non-binary, finding the right words is essential.
Obviously, it’s important for people to use language that respects and reflects your identity. Outdated or offensive terms can be hurtful.
However, it’s important to remember that you’re more than just a label!
Ultimately, what matters most is how you personally want to be addressed, regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum.
So, let’s talk about it!
Do you have a particular term or label that resonates with you – such as crossdresser, transgender woman, non-binary person, or something else?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts, so let’s continue the conversation in the comments below!
Love,
Lucille
I am trangender mtoF. I’d like to share ! Labels are just that ‘labels’ ! One day, after an altercation with a group of people in my town (who referred to me as they guy up the hill who wears dresses), I came to realize that in my own struggle with self acceptance, the fear of the labels that brought to me more self doubt along with self hate, I stopped in the midst of my walk. Thinking, I am none of these things that people call me. I am a human being and for that there is no label. It was that day, after my own self acceptance and denial I realized these societal labels meant nothing. I am a human being ! 🙂
I think of myself as a crossdresser, I wear a skirt about half the time but I don’t go all the way unless im going out to a club or somewere like that.
to certain private friends I am a crossdresser with feminine traits icluding more shapely breasts. Slim waist and genuine girly look. To the outside world I am all male – but metro sexual on concern for skin, nails and hair. I love the concept of being two sexes – but neither meeting
Except for the shapely breasts (I want those badly!) I am very much the same. It used to bother me when I was younger but once I embraced it I was so much better.
T-girl or transgendered women!! Don’t go for that other crap!!
Hi,
I guess the term for me is transgender. I’m on HRT and plan on chemical castration to be more of a female. I’m too old for SRS but in my mind I am a woman and that is all that counts.
My breasts are great, my walk is good, my voice is getting better, etc.
So when they bury me, I’ll be in a dress.
That’s a great attitude. I am just starting out but have been a woman at heart most my life. I am amazed at how far I am progressin .
Transgendered
Not a big fan of labels personally… I do self identify as transgender, transgender woman, tgirl or transwoman.
Beautiful!!!!!
I identify myself girl in puberty, more precisely transgender girl in inition of transition.
