One of the quickest ways to feel more feminine is to put on lipstick.
In fact, I say you aren’t fully dressed without a swipe of lipstick or lip gloss! This applies to everyone, including crossdressers and trans women.
Whether you like a subtle clear lip or a bold red pout, your favorite lip color reveals a lot about your feminine style.

Red = Confident
Red lipstick is sexy, classic, and bold. It projects confidence and self-assurance.
Go for red lips if you want to attract attention and show your sensual side.
Bright Pink = Bubbly
Bright pink lips are bubbly and energetic.
This is a bold, fun shade that projects playfulness. Wear bright pink lipstick if you want to be the proverbial life of the party.
Soft Pink = Feminine
Soft pink is a delicate, feminine lipstick shade. Choose this color if you’re the romantic type and want to look soft, sweet, and girly.
Mauve or Russet = Mysterious
Mauve and russet are muted lipstick shades with purple or brown undertones.
These understated colors are perfect if you want to appear mysterious, sophisticated, and intelligent.
Burgundy or Berry = Seductive
Burgundy and berry are deep, rich lip colors for those who aren’t afraid to make a statement.
They signal confidence and boldness, but with more seriousness than pure red or bright pink. Think sexy, seductive, and a bit mysterious.
Coral = Friendly
Coral is a beautiful peachy color with undertones of pink and orange. It’s a happy color that’s perfect for friendly, bubbly personalities.
Wear coral lipstick if you want to give off positive, optimistic vibes.
Nude = Warm
Nude lips are understated and classic. They give off a warm and caring vibe.
Nude lipstick is soft and feminine, but projects more seriousness than light pink lipstick.
Lip Gloss = Fun
Glossy lips, whether clear or with a hint of color, show off a fun personality that loves the spotlight.
Wear lip gloss if you want to give off a youthful vibe with a touch of glitz and glamour.
Lip Balm = No-nonsense
Maybe you don’t wear lipstick or lip gloss at all.
If bare lips or lip balm are your “colors” of choice, you show that you want to be taken seriously. You are no-nonsense, practical, and minimalistic.

I own and have tried many different colors and shares of color when it comes to lipstick but my daily wear is, “Revlon Color Stay, For Keeps Pink”. It seems to work the best for my hair and complexion and has been my go to color for daily wear.
I do think that the shade of lipstick can give others an inkling into someones character but that’s assuming that the guy its aimed at is tuned into what you’re trying to potray…if that makes sense
I like to wear differnt colour lipstick for different outfits and also match my nailvarnish if possible but the lippy don’t seem to stay on too long regardless of the colour
Clear gloss or lip balm are my favourites, not a huge fan of too much make up (wearing none in my pic) good skin care & well maintained brows are important. When I do wear a key up, it’s generally eyeliner & a touch of mascara 🙂
I know I just posted, but I just GOTTA add a few things. First, the images above, of those lovely lips, followed by all those phallic lipsticks, gives me all sorts of inappropriate thoughts. Second, after ordinary lipstick, highlights, mostly in the center, with a touch of gloss, gives your lips amazing presence!
I use different shades of red mostly. I use the same shade of red nail polish on my fingernails and toenails. I have used shades of pink at times but mostly reds.
I think my best color is a soft pink with a brighter pink highlighted center. Sometimes for evening wear I will use a bright red with a metallic pink highlight I will say it’s fun to mix it up and play with different colors and textures so I don’t follow any particular rules other than following a sharp line on the defining edge which is challenging at my age.
